Dear Members of the University Community,
I am excited to share that the University plans to construct a new philanthropically funded building for the Pompea College of Business on our main campus in West Haven. The donor momentum around this project has been increasing exponentially, and we are currently in the early stages of this exciting project, including the selection of an architect. We anticipate opening the building during the 2027-2028 academic year.
As a part of this project, starting with the Fall 2025 semester, all Pompea College of Business courses – undergraduate and graduate – will be taught on the West Haven campus. When the Fall 2025 course schedule is published later this week, class times and locations will reflect this change. Please note that class locations are subject to change between now and the start of the Fall semester.
Faculty, staff, and students will be involved in the planning process for this new space. As more details emerge, we will update the University community. We look forward to bringing the Pompea College of Business back to our main campus as a key pillar of the University of New Haven educational experience.
All my best,
Jens Frederiksen, Ph.D.
President
