Peer Educators are students that have elected for specific training to work as an information resource to other students on campus concerning a wide range of issues involving violence and abuse. Their mission is to spread awareness, give information, and most importantly provide options on how to move forward with an issue.

What We Do

Peer Educators have been trained on the topics of sexual assault, relationship abuse, and stalking. These peer educators deliver the Bringing in the Bystander Program to all incoming students throughout the semester. 

Throughout the year, the Peer Educators and the Violence Prevention and Intervention Center coordinate and organize programming to spread awareness. 

Peer Educators are trained, and available during office hours to connect students with appropriate resources to those who are interested, or in need. 

Who We Are

All Peer Educators are current UNH students, with a variety of majors and personalities, all united by the common goal of reducing rates of sexual assault, harassment, relationship abuse, stalking, and other forms of violence on campus. Peer Educators have been trained, educated, and have taken the initiative to help better the UNH community.
